Friday, When Items Were Due

Today both AR points and Narrative Essay Final Drafts were due today. If your grade has gone down you can attribute it to one or both of those things! Missing essays have been entered as missing but it will take me a little bit of time to get through the ones turned in on time so be patient. Getting 80 essays at a time can be a bit daunting.

Here are the totals by core class.

Core 1, 20 points due
- Average: 21.16
- # of students with 0 points: 3
Core 2, 10 points due
- Average: 5.68
- # of students with 0 points: 10
Core 3, 10 points due
- Average: 6.37
- # of students with 0 points: 5

Hey Mr.S, I understand the whole “challenge us” thing but 25 points in less then a month is kinda harsh… don’t ya think?

You actually have 5 weeks. Before you had 20 points in 4 weeks which is 5 points a week so adding 1 week and 5 points is not an increase at all. Ain’t math great!

I hate math. See that’s why I’m in Math 1, but if i pass by the end of the year, next year I go to math… uhh…2! 2 comes after 1! Man, I should be in math 2 already!!!

what if im reading a book and its long and dont take a test till im done do i finish it or stop and read books that i could take a test on after a couple of days.
