Sorry for the late post. Something was keeping me from accessing this site at school during my 7th period plan, either the EduBlogs.org site which has been experiencing some trouble as they upgrade their servers or something more nefarious.
Anywho, all Reading classes are done with Through the Tunnel and anxiously await the newest installment from Junior Great Books. They will have to wait a little bit as we go back to Core for Reading (no Walk to Read for the rest of the week) to discuss Before, During, and After Reading Strategies.
In Writing everyone had an assignment today where they attempted to put everything they’ve learned about elaboration and Telling The Reader MORE to use. A paragraph was written about how falling down hurts. Many wonderful details and clever anecdotes were told, along with some gruesome detail about the grisly aftermath of said fall. ‘Tis the season, I suppose.
