Hooray for blogs! Today we held a class competition in writing for the best piece of writing that shows elaboration by using descriptive language. Some classes will hold the finals or semi-finals tomorrow while first period voted on their winner: Kaitlin! Mr. Stockman’s pick for the “Teacher’s Choice” award went to Kelly!
In Reading we are reading the story Through the Tunnel from the Junior Great Books. The Walk to Read classes have begun rereading it with a partner while taking notes on the main character Jerry and finding places where he is acting childish or acting like an adult.
